Socket 775 Motherboard in need of help.

Hey its me again. I was wondering if i can ask this community for some guidence and i really trust this community since you all obviously know what you are talking bout. i need to get a motherboard that is less then 100 CAD that can perform as well. basically this will be use for gaming. i got a couple of links which i would be where i would do the shopping at http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...sp?CatId=1533& and http://www.canadacomputers.com/index...d=pl&id=MB.157. ill be looking forward to ur response. thank you in advance.

What r u going to do with the computer?

For 100 canadian dollars I think you might get the MSI PM8M3-V motherboard. If you can spend a little bit more you can get Intel's motherboard.

These VIA chipset for Intel processor motherboards are severly lacking in terms of features. If you are wedging in a P4 630 into one of these boards you might lose the Speedstep feature and some new ones.
