They should relabel these Athlon 64 FX and then find a way to change the PR rating. Maybe they will put a Sempron name inside, who knows? Still, if the X2s are cheaper and becoming a mainstream budget, both of the companies are winners. Performance people will go for the Cores and the many guys and girls with some cash will get the X2s and the Semprons.

FX-55 is not X2.

Yup, it's a single core 939 CPU.It's not possible to provide a dual core in this price right now but u never know.

No, I'm not forgetting nething, coz X2 3800+ is more costly in my country than the FX-55 I've specified b4.

X2 3800+ :- 160 $ & FX-55 :- 140$.

Newegg has also an office in my country,India & they charge nearly the same just like their US counterpart.Nearly every product (including this FX-55 as well)which is being sold at Newegg-America r also available with their India counterpart.We just have 2 pay a bit more to get the products shipped to our doorstep.
