Default puzzling me dearly amd mobile 2500+

Hi!
Im new to this forum and i got this problem I recenlty bought a amd mobile2500+ from ebay in Sweden, to my A7s8x-mx
asus mobo.
But shortly after I found it incompatible with the board-.-

Anyhow so yea I thought lets buy this Nf7-s rev 2
mobo to get it going-

And now i have tried everything i could think of.
but the cpu wont boot into windows properly.
Everything is going fine till th login screen is supposed to show up where as a Blue screen occurs and says my mobo is not fully compatible with acpi.
and automatically restarts .

Next thingy I tried was installinga complete new windows xp pro.
But same scenario but it occurs exactly where the windows logo is supposed to show.
in the very beginning of the install where i am suppose to see the progress bar and stuff bont dont.

I have tried 3 diferent bios. where on actually detected it in post as amd xp-m etz but i cant raise the fsb whatever fsb i put in it resets doesnt show me the "warning message"
like "DOnt power off now bios saving" shit.
instead it resets cpu to 100 fsb, i cant alter the value at all.

The mutipler is free in the opposite, but everything multiplies with 100 i.e. 14 X 133 sets it to 1400 @ 14x100.

So yeah im real puzzled..
Ive tried another cpu and its working al right and windows load, so I dont think the mobo or ram is faulty,
My specs is Antec 500w atx 2v
new geforce 7800 gs agp
abit Nf7-s
barton mobile 2500+
512 mb ram original

so hope anyone plz help any thing i havnt thought of or am I just doing some simple miss here or ?!?!

Yea, the XP-M were known as decent overclockers.

Well, I had to break it to you, but it's likely that the CPU isn't working right. It's not uncommon for old processors...

No problem. Terribly sorry to hear that your processor isn't working out as it should.

Can the TS post details of the processor steppings as printed on the proc? Maybe a recognition issue. Happens quite often with NF7. Was fortunate my DFi nForce 2 Ultra Infifnity didn't give that problem
