Reputation: 234 ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 6 | arguably true that on generally mid level motherboards (DS3 and P5b comes to mind), for enthusiast boards, I'm beginning to see a trand whereby NB straps can be set, and latency's internally would be adjusted slightly to compensate. Which is why mine runs at a strap of 1066. P5B if at those speeds would be running at 1333Mhz straps and in turn losing out on thoroughput bandwidth.
