Ah,,, like what Zue says... If I want 3G @1333fsb, All I have to do is set a box to 333. Runs it easy.

Eh, here is a slightly off topic question, I have a asus P5B Deluxe Mobo, And on new egg specs and in the mobo manual it mentions nothing about quad core support. But on the top of the mobo box it clearly says "support for quad core". What gives? You think p5bd/p965 supports quad core or not?
Your E6600 is a great chip. the new E6x50 is nothing new. just a faster FSB speed, which any E6x00 chip can reach without any stability issue.
P5B Deluxe definitely supports quad core. because that was the board i used for my quad before i got myself this spanking Gigabyte P35 DQ6 however, due to poor mounting of the heatsink on the MOSFET, and somehow inefficiently power circuitry, the cpu area got very hot when clocking my ex-quad. it burnt my finger it's the best to clock C2D, but definitely not a quad. sold it off the next day but still one of the best ever to come from ASUS

Thanks, That fills in some corners for me.

The only thing on my p5bd that seems warm/hot to touch is the south bridge. At stock speeds of course.

Thats about it.

Supposedly a lower TDP will allow you to OC higher. But it all depends I guess.

E6850 is the only one that proves it. :\ I haven't seen the others do very well.
