Yea i tried the PCMark 05 and ran the graphical tests a couple of times. There was no performance difference while changing the aperture size so i left it at 64 which was default. However, i noticed that disabling the sideband adress brings a slight performance boost or atleast the results say so.

"AGP Sideband Addressing is a transfer mechanism allowing the card to send and receive at the same time, by using a second bus for addresses and commands to the graphics processor, so the data can flow as fast as it can over the AGP bus."
Haven't optimized the OS yet. I'll need the PC in the normal state these days and i'll have to borrow the DVD-RW to save all the data. I guess i will start with it in two weeks.

By that definition, seems kinda weird that disabling would increase your performance though

Ouh, looks good. I thought TweakGuides only had guides for tweaking video cards and drivers.
Bookmarked!

Actually, the BIOS Optimization Guide teaches you how to optimize your system for maximum performance and stability. But we don't always give you an outright recommendation because some settings vary from system to system but it's all explained in there.
