Default Question about Hardware I Brought

I brought a Biostar P43 mothernoard and a 2.66ghz core2Duo.
Everybody here in India tells me Biostar is worthless I asked them why they say nobody uses it. I asked how do they it is crap if they have never used it but their stupid suggestions has put me in a dilemma and now I want to know your viewson the motherboard and processor.

Thanks in advance

biostar's been making quite a few excellent motherboards since early last year. Specifically, their Tpower series. I love i this range of boards.
Nobody uses it doesn't mean it's bad. could be due to lack of marketing/low marketing budget for your location/channel partnership isn't as strong as established vendors.

last heard, they are very well accepted in Japan.

Yup, when it comes to budget boards, their TPower series is quite popular among overclockers here too.

Never worry about what baseless haters say.

Peer pressure (in a misleading way) is fairly common now with 'neighborhood so called techies'.
