When will AM3 stuff be on the market? - Page 3

Ok, I got the card installed and used it a little.
I ran everything at 1680x1050, and tested in XP PRO and Windows 7 BETA. A good play to me is where there is no lag in the game.
I ran the Bioshock demo maxed out, I used the STALKER Clear Sky benchmark, and Crysis. STALKER got 1688 points. In XP, I could run everything on High detail and the max AA. In Windows 7, I was playing with high detail, but no AA. I tried playing with AA, but there was the occasional lag.
The card is EXTREAMELY quiet. the CPU's HSF is louder under normal use. After running the games, it was about the same noise level as the CPU HSF. It was noticeable, but very tolerable.

Sweet!! The card must be everything you wished it could be.

Enjoy playing your games at full detail. I love the level of immersion and reality of those games with the quality ramped up to the max.

Yeah me too! That 4850 is cheap but good!
