Ugh... wish that this Phenom is cheaper . Now the price range is like the Q6600 - I rather buy the Core anyway (not a fanboy here - I like both of them). But if it's cheaper... and it works well in any of the AM2 boards (without a hitch) then that'll be a good one.

I read in some user reviews that some of the AM2 boards still not accepting Phenoms properly. When I checked my Biostar 6100 AM2, the CPU support list is totally missing!!

edit: Hint - if you want to build a powerful quad-core PC from scratch, get the Intel one. However, if one is *stuck* in AM2 systems (especially people who have a more expensive board) - the nearest option is Phenom if you wish to save a little bit more.
