Professional camera bags cost an arm, a leg and sometimes, even more! They are a necessity for photographers but not everyone can afford to pay such exorbitant prices.

Fear not, however! We have a short guide on how you can convert any ordinary backpack into a camera backpack for virtually no cost at all!

One question tho'... You can afford a D70, but couldn't be bothered with buying a proper camera bag??

Just kidding...

Well, this really showed the power of innovation... I would add one more layer of corrugated cardboard tho', just to be on the safe side... You know, to enhance the rigidity and ensure it can take more than just a few drops head-on...

LOL! What can I say?

Well, bags are taxed here so camera bags are very expensive over here. The last time I asked, they were asking for something like RM 600-700 (USD 158-184) for a Lowepro backpack.

So, until I make a trip to Singapore to get a "real" camera bag, I will have to make do with my DIY camera bag.
