Hehe.. That's why I did it. Hopefully, it will help people out there who are thinking of buying this router.

there's a lot of news on this router. Apparently, you can get firmware to make it a better router that has stronger signal and ip6 enabled.

Haha, i'd love to do that.... if someone would be able to sponsor that to us! Almost RM2K to startup! Phew...

Anyway.. the LinkSys Router looks good. The setup/config is done up pretty well.

LOL. to think i bought this router 2 - 3 months ahead of you. but anyways, i've gone through the pages and it seems more like a pictorial manual.

i mean, serious. you could print out every page and compile it and it'll be a manual.

it worked flawlessly on my machines, but as for some machines it's a headache to get them to go on WiFi. i never could get them to work, i believe it's due to those laptops having a lot of other settings inside (VMware and all) that conflicts DHCP IP assigning/acquisition.

the sub-sections link in the user interface is rather dark, some might missed it. i know i did, later i realized there were words there.

it's still sad that no one i know (or seen in the oceans of other forums that i googled) has successfully setup playing C&C:Generals via Direct Connection behind this router.

Hmm try using a port monitoring utility like Active Port (http://www.download.com/Active-Ports...-10121832.html) and see what Generals is using for their ports? Then open up that port and try?

Yeah, the sub-section links are pretty hard to see.

The signal I'm getting is excellent but for some reason, the router drops the signal once in a while and the card has to reacquire it.
