Default Desktop CPU Comparison Guide Rev. 6.2

We have just updated the guide!

There are so many CPU models that it has become quite impossible to keep up with the different models or even remember their specifications.

Therefore, we decided to compile this guide to provide an easy reference for those who are interested in comparing the specifications of the various desktop CPUs in the market, as well as those already obsolescent or obsolete.

Currently covering 672 desktop CPUs, this comprehensive comparison will allow you to easily compare up to 18 different specifications for each and every CPU.

Here are the latest updates in Revision 6.2 :-
Quote:
- Added the AMD Athlon 64 4000+ (Orleans) processor.
- Updated the specifications of the AMD Athlon 64 3800+ (Orleans) processor.
- Updated the specifications of the AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor.

Yeah, I got it at the Intel press conference yesterday. Was going to update the guide with it.

Thanks for the other heads-up though!

erm, I noticed Corei7 L1 cache marked as ""32K+32k x4"

if Corei7s has the same amount of L1 as Core2, shouldn't all Core2 L1 be the same, instead of the current "32k x2"?

Yeah, but I'm not sure yet whether we should post both data and instruction caches, or just the data cache. Also, I'm wondering if we do post both caches, should we post them separately, or as the current 32+32 KB x 4.

Guys, regarding the E2180 - I think there's a Conroe version as I do come by some people stating that their E2180 readings says Conroe.
