Default ED#44 : ATI Catalyst Is No Longer A Killer!

After two editorials on how crappy ATI Catalyst Vista drivers are, we finally found one that works. Well, at least one that didn't kill Windows Vista.

We also noted significant performance improvement with the latest driver, which is a very good sign. However, not everything works properly even with this driver. ATI sure needs to work harder on the Vista drivers.

You can thank the forum members from DriverHeaven for helping to find that BSOD problem. If I remember correctly it was caused by programs loading before one of ATI's applets that caused that crash.

Link to forum thread about that crash and it's relatively simple fix.
