The CPU & Heatsink Lapping Guide

Reducing the CPU temperature has always involved newer, larger heatsinks with ever more powerful fans. All of that mean extra costs. But what if you could have better cooling without the extra cost?

I'm really tempted, but I haven't found the time to even repair the C2D system... It's still dead.

Hehe.. I don't think it's the CPU now. I tried it with a different CPU... and graphics card. Still no go. I just stripped it out of the case. Will be testing the parts one at a time until I find the cause.

It's very unlikely to kill a CPU. I have a spare motherboard, you might wanna try.
