There's no download link.

It's just RTM, meaning released to manufacturing. Microsoft will churn out the DVDs or media and send it to OEMs. Or OEMs can download it later this week.

Public release will be in March.

Just RTM. Not for public yet. But I guess you should be able to find elsewhere to download, maybe from torrent.

Yep, it released about a month ago I think.

Download details: Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Five Language Standalone (KB936330)

It hasn't given me any problem yet. The OS feels much more responsive when you do file copying though. That's a real plus for me

Never use pre SP1, and I still don't like Vista.

Yes, because the original Vista had a bug in file copying operations.
