Yesterday Microsoft relesead the SP3 for XP. Here's the link, direct download:
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...P3-x86-ENU.exe

For details:
Download details: Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT Professionals and Developers

Overview
Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers’ experience with the operating system.

Note: Customers running Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) are advised to install a hotfix for a Microsoft Dynamics RMS issue prior to installing Windows XP SP3.

Default ED#88 : Windows XP SP3 RTM Confirmed Rev. 1.3!

The editorial has just been updated!

After we broke the stories on the release of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and the planned RTM schedule of Windows XP SP3, we have now managed to obtain the confirmed release schedule of Windows XP Service Pack 3!

This is the news that all loyal Windows XP users have been waiting for. Here are the full details...

Here's a quote from the editorial :-
Quote:
"Microsoft clarified that there will not be any integrated SP3 release for Windows XP Media Center Edition or Windows XP Tablet Edition. That means you won't be able to buy or obtain a complete Windows XP Media Center Edition / Tablet Edition SP3 CD. In addition, users of Windows XP Media Center Edition or Windows XP Tablet Edition will only be able to update to Service Pack 3 through Windows Update.

Although Microsoft has delayed deployment of Service Pack 3 via Windows Update, you can directly download Service Pack 3."
