ED#92 : NVIDIA Spy @ Computex

The folks at NVIDIA have gotten extremely paranoid these days. From password-protected press documents to NDAs for just about everything, they now have a spy patrolling the Computex exhibition halls to lay down the law on their partners. Well, Mr. 007, you should never threaten journalists...

Here's a quote from the editorial :-

"Thanks to Mr. 007, I skipped much needed sleep to write this editorial and post these photos of an NVIDIA GTX 280 reference card in a demo case. Not that I thought they were particularly important, to be honest. That's why I didn't bother to post earlier. But since he "asked" so nicely, I thought I should oblige him."

Looking good Adrian and I agree with you on the secrecy thing. They should be showcasing it not hiding it. Not to offend a friend I have made over the years at NVidia ... but this is typical of NVidia PR

Well, I know who you are talking about and he's a really nice guy. Hehe.. But this "spy" of theirs was rude and overly aggressive.

I don't understand why though. After all, details of the GTX 200 series have been leaked BEFORE Computex 2008. Using a spy during Computex would be like closing the barn doors after the horses have bolted.
