Microsoft is releasing monthly updates to OEMs on their upcoming Windows 7 operating system. As usual, we managed to get our hands on the juicy details!

In this revision, we expanded the article to 4 pages and added new details on the Windows 7 launch schedule, the Windows 7 Upgrade Program and the improved Windows Experience Index.

(afaik due to UAC Security issue)

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the heads-up! That's still in the ballpark (Mid-July). I think Microsoft still wants some wriggle room in case they have minor problems to resolve before it goes gold.

We are changing it to the actual dates to make it clearer. Thanks!
