(cannot put links here due to my post count but I think you know which one, just google: Report: Microsoft to give free Windows 7 upgrades to XP downgraders)

The author kept mentioning discount. Why did they mention discount and not free upgrade? I thought the purpose of the program was free upgrade.

What discount?? It's a FREE upgrade program.

I have no idea why ComputerWorld says it's a discount. It's meant to be free. Maybe they got their sources wrong...
