Well, the drive alone is going for about US$ 138, so that's just $2.16 per GB. That's 20% cheaper than the Intel X25-M G2, which currently costs about US$ 2.69 per GB. The upgrade kit is a bit more pricey at US$ 185, which works out to US$ 2.89 per GB, but you get the whole works - USB enclosure and 3.5" drive brackets. Unless you intend to use it with a USB enclosure, I would recommend just getting the drive alone. It offers the most bang for your buck.
