As I mentioned, X1600 series actually has only 4 pixel pipelines, yeah, this is even less than 9800Pro/XT, X700Pro/XT etc. However, in RV530, each pixel pipelines has 3 pixel shader engines (or pixel shader processors, as written in the chart you posted). So that makes 12 pixel shader engines in total. 9800Pro/XT and X700Pro/XT on the other hand, only has one pixel shader engines per pixel pipelines. Most older GPUs has only one pixel shader per pipeline. The X1900XT/XTX is similar to X1600 too, with 16 pixel pipelines and 48 pixel shader engines, which means R580 has 3 pixel shader engines per pipelines, just like the RV530.
