hi guys,

I see that the 9600GSO has higher core, memory and shader clock than all the other 9600GSOs i come by. the 384mb version is far slower than that

NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO

as for the 768mb version (which is what I'm using) comes at 600 core, 900 ram, 1500 shader......... which is also same as the specs I see on some Palit 9600GSO reviews.

can you guys look into this?

Cool and that might explain the similarities between your card and the Palit. Palit owns Gainward.

yup. even the looks are similar.

btw

from what I checked,

Reference clocks for the 9600 GSO are 550MHz on the Core, 1375MHz Shader and 800MHz memory.

again, guys - please look into this.

Looks like most are showing 550/800 except the overclocked version.

Hey guys, new to the forums.

I got a question, I am currently upgrading my GFX card I have DUAL 7600 GT's 256mb. And I don't want to do SLI any more so I am thinking of purchasing one NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800 GTX.

Is that a good idea? Or should I upgrade to something else?

(It's for playing; Age of Conan, Diablo 3, Half Life, Crysis .ect)
