Did Windows XP detect your card as a FireGL card?

yes, winxp detects this card as a fireGL.

i installed the unified-package-driver.
now i will test the single-package.

what about the 3ds-drivers ? are this additional driver or are they included in the normal installation. will they be also install with the unified-package or have i to do it ?

i also tried to install the 3ds-driver additionaly but then i get an error:
String MESSAGE_DETECT_HARDWARE not found in the String-Table

Hi..

In addition, one can leave the map, and a modified driver to install.

Advantage one can really use all features of the X2 then here whether control panel etc.

Disadvantage, one can only modified drivers.

Therefore I would assumed have whom I with the Bios Mod, which complete ATI-FGLX2 packed install can, that without the whole attitudes am useful umflashen the nothing. Besides also the Rage3Tuner does not recognize the map.

Or how am I the DX, open GL, Fastwrite, etc. attitudes make ?

what do you want to say, i'm sorry but i don't understand your answer.
i have install the driver which you have posted.

now i have the ati-buttons in the display-properties but there is NO performance increase. really nothing.

i have tried to render a scene in 3dsmax five times, but it takes exact the same time like with a standard 9800pro.

slowly i lose the trust in this mod.
has somebody here an increase of performance in 3d-software ?

Hi again guys , im ready to flash my card but have run into a question .. which bios do i use there are three listed for FireGL X2 , which do i use? I dont need a hack version because im using a 9800pro 256MB DDR2 card so its a straight flash as its the same card.

So that leaves me with the question .. which bios is which and what are the differences of the three listed?

Hi Capt'n Carnage ,

at first i would only backup the original bios of your card.
then you can open it with the radeon-editor and note all settings.

download the three hacked bios and open it also with the editor and compare these with the settings in your original bios.
i would take the bios which has the same or almost the same settings like your original bios.

then you can flash your card.

have you tried any other scene?

I never tested it because i don't have any workstation 3d-sofwares

so why did you mod your card into a FireGL when you don't have any 3d-software

i think this is the essential problem of this mod, somebody wrote/found this mod, everybody say:"YEAH, a FireGl for free, i flash my card now" but nobody has really tested it if there are performance increases

i wait this day and if nobody can prove me the opposite, i will mod my card back
