If the FireGL does not render woekstation 3d softwares what's the point for those ppl who bought the true FireGLs?

the point is that a true FireGL render in such applications faster than our modded Radeon. what does it mean ? that the mod doesn't work !

It's not about the hardware. The modded FireGL is guaranteed to perform better than Radeon in workstation 3d applications

who gives you the guarantee that the modded Radeon is faster ?
i cant see any performanc increases. ok, maybe i have done something wrong.
you see that the most people here tests the modded card with standard gaming-software. YEAH !!! sorry but this is bull****.

its that what i mentioned above ... FireGl for free .... everybody think it will boost their games or 3dmark2003-points.[/i]

Finally we have it geschaft and a new version of the successful Radeon 9800er Tuning - kits develops and tested.

Very honoured buyers, it ersteigern here NO diagram map, NO hardware, but ONLY a detailed GUIDANCE!!!

It ersteigern here a "R.E.T. CD V.2.0"and 7 a lateral guidance in pdf format, as well as all necessary software to the simple Tuning of a Radeon 9800, Radeon 9800 pro and Radeon 9800 XT on the level of one the fastest and most expensive workstation diagram maps of the world. The OPEN GL achievement rises on the average around 90%.

We tested all results several times with Quake III arena and professional open GL Benchmarkt Viewperf 7,1. Our results were very surprising, after the Tuning still more stability, image quality and OpenGL achievement.

do you get an error-message or what happens that you know that the mod doesn't work ?
detects your operating system your card as a FireGL ?

you get an error-message in DOS-mode ?
maybe your bios-file is corupt or the name is to long.
try to rename it in something short (e.g. fireGL.bin)

then you have to use the described tools (flashrom).
type

flashrom -f -p 0 firegl.bin

this should work.

You will need to rename the BIOS image file to the 8.3 file name format supported by DOS. That means something like firegl.bin.
