Reputation: 0 ![]() Rep Power: 0 | Max, Thanks for the feed back I know ATITool doesn't detect the max OC properly. But this is a consistent way for me to compare between cards. From the perspective that you can set hte same criteria for the card to succeeed or fail. This way you are comparing apple to apple, rather then just staring at a monitor and trying to notice any artifacts. I have consistnetly achieved "BETTER" OC speed, then what ATITool's report. The socres I get from ATITool has been safe for me to use as every OC speed. As for my core so far. I upped the voltage to 1.84 and acehieved 448Mhz on StockAir (I know it's a no-no). Just wanted to see. Only ran it for a few min. to make sure the PC booted w/ the GPU vMod installed. I'm going to take it home tonight and put my waterblock on it and see what I can get at 1.9 and 2.0. Here are my score break downs: Stock Cooling & Stock Volt 1.69: GPU = 429 Water Cooling & Stock Volt 1.69: GPU = 449 Stock Cooling & Mod Volt 1.84 GPU = 448 Water Cooling & Mod Volt 1.9 GPU = ??? Water Cooling & Mod Volt 2.0 GPU = ??? Will I be able to hit 500Mhz... we will see... Just wanted to keep you guys in suspense I know the guide was awesome in saying that 1.9 volt should be the max for good air cooling. How about for water cooling? Also.. can anyone recommend a "Consistent" way to check for max everday OC? SAD |

Will give that shot. How would I properly use this program? Do I just watch for artifacts and strang annomalies? Or is there any detection in the software. SAD

440 @ 1.9v? Wow.. Ok.. here are my latest GPU vMod scores using ATITools (just using this for apple to apple compare) 1.84v = 468mhz (water) 1.91v = 472mhz (water) So the jump from 1.84 to 1.91 didn't produce as much impact as I hope. but from 1.69 - 1.84 I got about 20mhz increase. Not sure if I shoudl push to 2.0v. I then went to 3dmark to put the new OC to the test before going to bed. I was able to run 3dMark2k1 at 500Mhz on 1.91, but got some artifacts. Nothing major. I'm hoping to kick up it up to 1.95 or 2.0 to get artifact free run in 3dmark. Lets see how it goes. I'm just a bit edgy at running my video card w/ such high voltage. I'll probably just kick the volts up for Benching, and take it down to stock for everyday use. I guess 448Mhz OC isn't bad at stock volts This was a fun little project. Thanks everyong here at Rojak for you help. Is anyone interested in seeing 3dMark or AM3 scores? I will probably start benchign this weekend to see if I can get some nice scores. SAD
