Only you can find out how far your card will go not every 9800pro overclocks the same
i mean how much is safe to run 24/7 because i dont wanna fry my card
If you keep within those limits and ensure sufficient cooling, you should have no problem running your card 24/7.

Well thanks for all of your help. I finally got the rocks out of my head and laid down some serious graphite between pins 18 and 20. I got the voltage to about 1.8 which is fine for me, I was looking to get it above 1.58 which is really low if you ask me. My overclock is not stupendous (440/365) but it is faster than a stock xt which is where is was aiming at. One thing that I learned about this whole experience is that it is unwise to overlook the power supply as the culprit for low voltages and poor overclocks. With my old 420 I couldn't even get to stock XT speeds before or after the volt mod. Now with a new power supply and the pencil trick look where I am. I picked up a thermaltake purepower 420 for $36 (US) and it also helped with the Doom 3 speckle problem.

Again thank you to all who posted to help me.

Sorry, i didn't read your post properly.

With Arctic Cooling VGA silencer, i guess the highest voltage would be around 1.8v. as for the memory, 3.2v should be fine

Remember, i can't guarantee that with these voltages you won't kill your card running it 24/7. Some cards fry within a week with only 1.9v. Some feed their cards with more than 1.9v for a few months and the cards are still running fine

Remember, don't go over 2v even you are watercooling your card If you do, you are very lucky if your card lasts 2 months with that voltage

yeah i know that you cant guarantee that but its god to know how much i can run so i will probably test 1.8 and 3.2 and se the diffreses and then if i can oc much much more i will reduce it down to a good level
