Will you believe it if we tell you that ATI cards will trash NVIDIA cards in physics acceleration by over 50%? You wouldn't believe it, right? Then check out these benchmarks of three ATI graphics cards versus the vaunted NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX in the boulder test! Link : ATI Trashes NVIDIA In Physics!
WOW As nVidia fan I'm still shocked!!! Anyway, the article was very interesting to read and makes me really wonder what will be my next Video Card (did I hear someone said X1900 XTX... ) Like stated in the article, as both ATI and nVidia won't release any drivers that support "Physics Accelaration" soon nor PC Games will support it soon, I see no point in going for ATI Video Card. Meanwhile, I'll stay with my recent upgrade, my lovely XFX 6800GS xXx Edition...
OMG, F**k, Damn, I've been fooled again!!! How come I didn't notice it's a April's Fool??? I fill so embaressed I've also been fooled last year Anyway, I have to admit it is really convincing... So...have a nice April's Fool!!!
OMG!!!!!! ATI rules so big!!!!!!! Now I have to wait a hour and 20 minutes to be officially fooled as it is not April fools yet here
Huh? You mean you didn't know. I thought you knew and was making a joke. Is there really a xXx edition? I thought you were kidding...
Yeah, hardspell.com even linked to the article on 4th April: http://www.hardspell.com/news/showcont.asp?news_id=24000 Dash: There is really an xXx version. Comes with a free porno instead of bundled games
I wasn't joking, I've been REALLY fooled!!! Oh...and THERE is xXx version, it's the eXtreme version of the XFX 6800GS, which comes pre-overclocked from the factory: 485/1100 instead of 425/1000 for the "non-extreme" version.
