    Not really.

7950GX2 is almost essentially a 2x7900GT card, very similar clock speed, very similar overclocking, and very similar looking cooler (in terms of size anyway).

very simple..7950GX2 is suppose to be an SLI of 7900GTX rite?

the default core clock of a 7900GTX is 650Mhz, but the 7950GX2 is onli running @ 500Mhz..

so is the memory clock, from 7900GTX's 800Mhz to 7950GX2's 600Mhz..

    Not really.

GX2 is not supposed to be GTX nor GT, even though it's a lot closer to GT. There's quite a lot of limitation to make GX2 as fast as 2 GTX SLI due to power consumption, heat, and space for cooling.

ya.. wad i think is that nvidia made it to beat 79GTX & X19XTX while maintaining a lower power consumption as compared to X19XTX..

that is why XFX can easily come out with an o/c-ed version where the core is running @ 570Mhz & memory @ 775Mhz

  12. 48 pipelines! That should sure give ATi a run for its money! :wicked:

Yes of course, I did manage to overclock to similar levels. I'm keeping the rest for the full reviews.

But I really have to admit, I'm not at all impressed by GX2, not especially in Quad SLI!

nvidia says that quad-sli not ready for benchmarking yet, coz the drivers not ready...

yet to read the review on it...
