Everyone thinks of the NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS as merely the cheaper, crippled version of the GeForce 7900 GT. But ASUS changes that perception with their EN7900GS TOP graphics card.

Our test results showed that the ASUS EN7900GS TOP graphics card is actually much faster than the GeForce 7900 GT and at least for now, more than twice as fast as the new ATI Radeon X1950 GT.

OMG, this came at the right time.
I just started planning to buy a new rig and I've been wondering which Nvidia graphic card series I should take.

BTW, has anyone know if it's for sale in Malaysia yet?

    I would still get/wait for DX10 hardware.

It should be available. But watch out for the regular GeForce 7900 GS that ASUS also sells. Don't mistaken that for this overclocked card.

    Great review! Well done.:)

Nice to see how the 7600gt fits in on a C2D system. Now I know what to expect. :arp: #1

I managed to find the price for this card.
It currently cost RM800 in Lowyat Compuzone.

WHich is better, 7900GS TOP or 8800 GTS TOP? Difference is just about 100-200 bucks.

    Another one.

But to think I've had my 7900GT for quite a while now so I've enjoyed that level of performance for a while now (which is why I'm indifferent coz thats how it is). Looking forward to the next step I take.

Yeah, as long as any decent high-end graphics card is bought the day it comes out, it is indeed a worthy investment. :thumb:

Hmm.. If the difference is so little, I would really go for the 8800 GTS (320MB).

BTW, don't forget that this is just an overclocked version of the standard GeForce 7900 GS. You can buy a cheaper card and try it out yourself.
