anyone knows what is this weird creepy crawling creature called? I always see it, but never know its name. it looks like a fish but it crawls! seeing that sends a shiver down my spine!

i used to see a hell lot of mud-skippers along riverbanks and gurney drive especially when the tide is low. they're so cute. run after them and they'll hop/skip away haha.

i think it has a name in chinese called.. 'dog female snake', but again, im not sure

so its mud-skippers then? hehe

Yup, that's a mud skipper. Loads of them in the swamps.

When I was in Macau, I went to their Maritime Museum, where they displayed fishermen using traps to catch these mud skippers and a board to move about on the soft swampy soil.
