Trust me!.. its nice for a short holiday, not for staying long term unless you work there. I've stayed there before for a year. Its only one road uptown, one road downtown.

I'm a sub-urban type of guy. If stay at Cameron Highlands, I'd rather die. That's why I don't like city like KL as well but Bangkok or Haadyai different I think.
