Default PCI slot problem

I have two PCI slot, when I plug network card in my second PCI slot, the first slot which I put in my sound card become not working, but when I plug out the network card, the sound card back to normal condition. How to fix this problem?

Have you tried reversing the slot order that each card is in?

1. Try to determine if there is a problem with the physical PCI slot by reversing the order of both PCI cards, or try plugging just the soundcard to slot 2. Try to see if any of the pin in the PCI slot on the motherboard are damaged.

2. You should also check the PCI settings in the BIOS. If you are unsure, check out the BIOS setting section in this forum or you can reset it back to default value.
