Thanks maximus, yr tread was quite informative n i think i just stick to stock speed at the mean time as everything seem playing quite fine, pic look great , no jerking too. Is there something like run in time like our car before we go into OC ? sorry if i ask such niave question ! Do u recommend in tweaking the performance n quality setting ? currently at application controlled !

 

Well, there is no break in period as far as hardware is concerned... I overclocked mine as soon as I finished stress testing it...

As for the quality settings, leave it on high quality.. The AA and AF, its best to leave it on App Preferences...

You should generally leave those settings as application controlled. You do not have to worry about 'running-in' your graphics card, like a car engine. It'll OC out of the box, after you;ve stress-tested it to make sure it runs properly on stock settings

 

Alright I am curious as to what you all use to stress test new vid cards? Is it benchmarking programs or games for the most part? Just call me curious.

 

Benchies, rthdribl, Doom3, Far Cry.. Just anythign that will make yoru GPU sweat ALOT.
