because this Intel system is NOISY and super hot! the fan is as loud as the classic 7.2rpm 60mm fan and with it turned on I cant watch TV in my room. cant stand it.
Phok, check this out: http://www.overclockers.com.au/article.php?id=452447 And the cooling...Big Typhoon + Sanyo Denki @ full rpm (102cfm) http://www.overclockers.com.au/image.php?pic=articles/452447/xbx_typhoon.jpg I can spare one of those fans, you want or not
i have that fan too mine is Delta..>100CFM anyway u can compare the scores here HT ruins my scores. I've tried every possible fix (change 2 mobos, multiple RAM modules, RAM timing, power supply, coolers, disable/enable driver dual core optimization..etc) and still, the results remain the same. HT screws everything up. I have no idea how that guy could obtain such consistent scores (with HT enabled) Encoding: I used HD stream captured using Sony HDV camera.
ops sorry. testbed config: Intel PEE955 Asus 975X Corsair 667 4-4-4-12 raptor 74gb nv 7800GTX 512mb FX60 A8N32 Corsair 3200 2-2-2-5 raptor 74gb nv 7800GTX 512mb
Interesting... Anyway that guy, chainbolt, is the most pro-Intel member of OCAU so it's expected that he will try and make the results as favourable for Intel as is possible at this point in time
I did get quite pissed at my EE sample because it took me 2 weeks to complete the whole thing (waiting for replacement parts + the HT issue..etc) while the AMD machine needed only 2 days. The fan noise, the heat..phuuuuuuuu..i've had enough of this EE.. I missed my northwood days.. *me... pro no one
I don't care as well, as long as I can afford it and the product receive good reviews from my real life friends, then I'm all go.
They "kong" (die) very fast, not because he's bad luck. They die very fast because he's cheapskate. Instead of buying thermal paste like we asked him to, he just used "white stuff" he produces for free. No wonder they KONG!!!!
