A 3-Slot Cooler for the Palit 4870X2?

    Holy crap :shock: We know these things get a bit hot sometimes... but this is a bit overkill.

    I used to modify CPU coolers to fit them on my GPUs and they took out even more space than this 3 slot cooler :lol:

    Big is good. Better cooling, maybe better overclocking.

    Is it actually possible to run this in CF? It doesn't look like it will fit on my board :|

    It won't be possible on a lot of mainboards, but I don't think you will need a 2nd 4870 X2 anyway and the scaling is crap.

    Oh well, I guess people with enough money to buy two of these won't have a problem with getting a motherboard with the space for this either :p

    Incompatible with the 4870x2 and the 4870.

    The weight should not be a problem, unless you do not have a chassis... like me. :think: :haha:

    They would just go for watercooling in most cases.

    someone actually test CF on 4870x2 (ref) and 4870. it work.

    fits both 4850 and 4870.But not sure on 4870X2 cards..

    Definitely not, since it's dual GPU.
