The "Quick Guide" to "ACPI 2.0 Support" seems to be ambiguous: It says disabling ACPI 2.0 "turns on the original ACPI 1.0 standard". Yet a few lines down it says "If disabled, ACPI support will be disabled....." These seem contradictory. Grateful for advice.
Oops. Bad phrasing. It sounds much better in the full version. What it means is this BIOS feature doesn't actually turn on ACPI 2.0 or ACPI 1.0. It just turns ACPI on or off. When the BIOS feature is called ACPI 2.0 Support, it merely means the motherboard supports ACPI 2.0, and not that it can choose which version of ACPI to support. Hope that clears up the confusion. I will reword the page. Thanks!
