Any suggestion on how to benchmark virtual machines? I'm looking to see the effects of single core vs multi-core settings on virtual machines. What's the best method to do that?
I think it would be like benchmarking any PC. Maybe you can try a CPU benchmark like PassMark with single core enabled and dual-core enabled? It should run in the virtual machine, of course.
