So what has everyone been shooting this Chinese New Year?

Here are some of my random shots...

Mid Valley's theme this year seems to be bamboo, flowers and lanterns:

... while the adjacent Gardens Mall has peacocks and err... red panels...

Gurney Drive is starting to look like a swamp...

... or perhaps a desert, depending on the tide...

My father in law had this huge nangka fruit...

I was quite gungho this year to take photos of my CNY celebrations, especially since my grandmother's neighbours put on quite a fireworks display every year. So I brought my camera...

Not to spoil the CNY mood, but I ended up incapacitated from food poisoning... Arghhhhhhhhhhhh!!! :wall: :wall:

Yeah, I also like the nangka shot a lot! :D

But which part of Gurney Drive did you take the shot of the swamp/desert? I don't remember it looking like that.

The stretch somewhere in front of Gurney Plaza.

I liked the lanterns and specially their design. They are looking very attractive in that red color which is one of my favorites. Nice clicks.
