Well, lets have a collective thread for this. I'm still going and I'm at 3.9GHz @ 1.45. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=225460 http://forums.techarp.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=20971&d=1186371340 Cooling as per my sig. Load temps are 39C on Asus Probe and mid 40s on Speedfan. My flow is ~1.6 GPM. No vdroop whatsoever (thanks to the CPU voltage buffer option in BIOS). Board temps are very decent (8 phase PWM that runs cool).
At 4Ghz but it doesn't like 1.45v... http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=225481 Increasing vcore.
Hmm tried all the way up to 1.6v and still a no go. Gonna figure this out tomorrow after I get back from work. In the mean time, back to baking at 3.9GHz.
I wouldn't be surprised if it needs >1.6v to be stable at 4GHz. The scaling gets really ridiculous once you go beyond 3.8GHz
eat what first? who knows.. you being a gentlemen might just treat the winner balik pulau 's 70sen buffet laksa
I want lunch HERE... In the Pacific Northwest. I know just the place... Well actually McDonalds HERE will be good enough...
