On the 12th of October 2015, Microsoft Malaysia invited us to a Microsoft Office 2016 event called New Ways of Work (NWoW). It was a cozy little affair at the Crave Cafe with Bruce Howe, Director of Consumer Channels Group, Microsoft Malaysia; and Ananthram Balakrishnan, Business Group Lead of Apps Services and Marketing, Microsoft Malaysia. Bruce talked about a Microsoft Asia Pacific survey called the "New World of Work", which unlocked insights into how today's employees perceive their ability to succeed in the new digital, fast-paced work place. Ananthram then showed off the new collaborative features of Microsoft Office 2016. Amongst its notable features are its co-authoring function, which allows users to see each other's edits live, as they make them in Word, PowerPoint and OneNote.
