Let's see how long our systems can last before we need to reboot! To check the Up Time in Windows Vista, just go to Task Manager -> Performance. There's an Up Time timer in the System section. Be sure to mention what operating system you are using! :ber: So far, my notebook (Windows Vista 64-bit) has been up for 159 hours 10 minutes and counting... That's just over 6 days.
For older Windows, go to "Run", type "cmd". Then type in "systeminfo", there's a line with system up time. Mine is 109 hours and counting.
I leave my notebook on almost 24/7 because I'm usually downloading stuff. Plus, it's easier for friends and family to send me messages since I'm always online. My notebook (Vista 64-bit) is now up for 170 hours, 34 minutes and counting!!!
I turn Trinity off when I'm not using her. Helps to keep dust build up down and prolong fan life. Saves $$$ on electricity too.
my pc 460 hours and counting. (vista) my gf's pc. 84 hours and counting. (vista) laptop 589 hours and counting (vista)
My home WXP PC System Up Time: 71 Days, 12 Hours, 40 Minutes, 6 Seconds or 1716 Hours, 40 Minutes, 6 Seconds
I won't try that if I were you or me... I have my side panel opened, so I don't even want to know what's inside. I just noticed my front fan for my 6 HDDs died a few weeks ago. Was wondering why no wind. Side fan still working fine though.
Mine only 5 Days, 11 Hours, 38 Minutes, 18 Seconds but I would turn off my pc time to time to give it a breather.
My notebook (Windows Vista 64-bit) has been up for 378 hours, 30 minutes and counting... But I will have to reboot it soon. It keeps racking up the paging file.. and is starting to slow everything down, even after restarting Maxthon and Outlook.
