LCD Recommendations

sticking with my DELL 2007WFP.

i can't imagine using TN panel based LCDs. oh horror of horrors.

 

I stick with Dell as well. X-bit has some neat round-ups of monitor if you fancy some reading

Dell's 2408WFP (S-PVA) with DisplayPort & HDMI is selling for a mind boggling RM 3,599

 

That costs even more than two 20" Ultrasharp

 

Yup, the new models are named xxx8 now

 

yeah. damn. unless i find used unit.

 

4:3 monitors ftw. Dell is still selling their UltraSharp 4:3 here in North America though. But too bad most manufacturers don't make any new 4:3 anymore, and if they do, they cost lots of $$$$$

 

Just bought a widescreen 22" Samsung 2232BW, my first widescreen and first decent LCD.

It's great! I love it and see no reason to go back to a 4:3 monitor.

 

And they're really hard to find, or its value versus widescreen isn't good at all

 

can't find an affordable 20inch 4:3 anymore
