using my home connection thru wifi.

 

when will m'sia ever get those fast speeds?

 

yeah, i read somewhere that lim kit siang quite an IT savvy person

 

i just got the maxis wireless 3G broadband installed today

sad to say it's a freaking DISAPPOINTMENT. it's REALLY slow
gonna apply streamyx soon

 

i went to speedtest.net and my download speed is around 80kbps...as in kiloBITS

 

Hm... so what my friend said is true, it's definitely not faster than streamyx. He applied for maxis simply because streamyx is not available in his area... he doesn't have any choice.

this was taken during the holidays, so it probably explains the crazy speeds, but it's normal to get about 1.5MB/s to 3.5MB/s sustained over here on the uni's line

unfortunately, i don't live in an accomodation provided by the uni so i don't get these kind of speeds

 

50 kb/s on BT so I ain't complaining for now
