Looking for some suggestions on a new wireless router... all my laptops and 'puters only support wireless G atm. Currently have the D-Link DI-524 54mpbs wireless G and am looking to get some extra wireless coverage and strength throughout the house. Any suggestions? Asus WL-520GU is the cheapest in Canada atm
I would want to get a wireless N router, but all of that shannanigan about draft and stuff turns me off. :/
Yeah, it's not standardized. That's why they call it Draft-N. But once it's standardized, you can update the router's firmware to support the final standard.
Oh, that's good to hear. Any good wireless N routers? I've always been with D-Link, but I heard Linksys are pretty good.
Tomate firmware thing right? I read it on a few forums... Just checked the prices for some Linksys wireless N routers. +80$ X____X
The Asus WL-520GU is one of them It's becoming quite popular here in Canada I believe because of that. It can even as a wireless repeater with the custom firmware!
my opinion is never get netgear loh. man i tried some netgear router always hang or got problem one, flash the firmware also no used. always kanasai by customers .
