KUALA LUMPUR, 16 November 2015 – Microsoft Malaysia (“Microsoft”) today continues its acceleration towards a mobile-first, cloud-first era with the appointment of Michal Golebiewski as its new Chief Marketing & Operations Officer (CM&OO).

In his role as CM&OO, Golebiewski will lead the entire span of the marketing and operations functions of the subsidiary. “After five wonderful years in Romania, where I was able to work with great people and drove the subsidiary’s transformation to the Cloud – it’s now time to take the next step, to take on new challenges in other areas and market conditions. Reporting to K Raman, Managing Director of Microsoft Malaysia, Golebiewski will also play a key leadership role in directing and managing the overall business and marketing strategy as well as execution in Malaysia, overseeing product marketing groups, marketing communications, compete, business operations, enterprise marketing, public relations as well as customer and partner experience efforts.

“Golebiewski brings a wealth of experience in the areas of marketing and operations, which is vital for the subsidiary as we strive for greater productivity within a Cloud-driven era. Coupled with an inclusive management style and a ‘can do’ attitude, I am confident that he’ll be able to take on any challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, leading the subsidiary to greater heights,” said Raman.

Golebiewski holds a degree in Electronics from Warsaw Technical University, and enjoys swimming, and reading books in his spare time.
