Trin's isp calls the other day, say's his trusty old modem needs upgraded... Or else...

Trin will miss his ol' Motorola surfboard. And this new one is 1/2 the size of the old one and seems much cheaper.

I have 8mbs service btw.

It's exactly the same here. I replaced my modem, and they give the lower quality model.

 

when i just moved into the apartment, i got the white surfboard just like yours. but my line was bad and i called time warner, they layed new cables and change it to the newer black surfboard modems. hmm pic? . have to wait!!

At least yours is a surfboard.

They took my beefy surfboard and gave me some modem branded 'Arris'. And the thing I don't like the most is that this one requires a wall wart. I have a ton of those already!

Yeah wall warts... Trin is up to 8 of those things now! (in his desktop area) God only knows how many in the whole house. There outta be a law against those things.
