    Hi,

You should do any kind of BIOS-editing in pure DOS environment - not really on Windows. The gibberish might happen maybe because of a wrong program, or unsupported ROM file interpreter.

Ok, do you know of any bootable dos bios editors? I have one on a CD I have but it can't change boot logo or anything like that, I could change who the manufacture is, board info and stuff, but I want one that I can edit everything.

Not really. You can edit the BIOS files in Windows, then flash it later. It doesn't really matter what environment you are in.
