Hint #3 The car first made its debut at the '89 Tokyo Motorshow, but the project would die out in 1993 due to the global recession, which meant lack of demand for supercars. Do you guys need more pictures? or more hints? *edit* I got my dates mixed up it was the '89 Tokyo Motorshow not the '91. I amended the error above.
I haven't gone through the whole thread so I don't know whether this one's been posted yet, but here goes... What's this?
'Tis European, but not necessarily a Euro. Early 90's. A supercar from a company no one really associated with supercars (the company might be defunct now...not quite sure). If you need more clues just ask . Once you guys get this one I'll start scanning in the photographs in my copy of Cars International 1990 - it's amazing how many obscure car manufacturers there are!
They did make sport cars in the 90s. I did remember seeing one of their cars on a Singaporean car magazine. It had a BMW engine in it. Wait, I actually got it mixed up with another Low-volume car manufacturer.
Nope . It ain't an Ascari, Alpine, Volvo or Mega (never heard of the last one actually...). Just a few more pointers...the car did not use an engine produced by a third party manufacturer. The engine was an air cooled V8. And the most significant (and hopefully, helpful) hint: There was some bad blood between Ferdinand Porsche and the founder of this company - accusations were slung around that the good Dr. P stole some of the best ideas this company had (rear engine, air cooling, horizontally opposed engine layout) when he designed the Kdf-Wagen (which became the Beetle).
