Definately concur since the time frame of two weeks wouldn't be to long nor to short plus we won't attract as many spammers as we would like with a one week time frame and would not loose participation momentum if it's a three week time frame.

Yeah, I think we will just announce the contest and rules early... give them a few days to ruminate and plan their strategies.
