Hi all. I have the following system : P4 3.2 Ghz - 2 GM RAM - 3 HDD (2 SATA + 1 EIDE) - 500 W PSU - ASUS P4P800 SE as MOBO BIOS 1.009 system WIN/XP PRO SP2 full updated. My problem is : when I turon on my pc often happen that the system does not load bios, I have to press the "HW RESET BUTTON" to start it. Any idea ? I have just changed my PSU from 300 W to 500 W. Some says it may depend from DRAM timing setting but I have no idea about this. Thanks Alberto
All you did was change the power supply? Did you change the memory module(s) or change any BIOS settings?
I never chenged RAM modules because of cost ... I have ryed to change some setting but none was usefull
Hmm.. Why don't you tell us exactly what BIOS settings you changed? Or better still, get screenshots of your BIOS screens and post them here. Then we can see what you set in your BIOS.
